Go To Bat

Info

State Farm has a rich history of giving back to the communities where they live and work. One of their many programs is Go To Bat, an annual charity that in 2012 raised almost $200,000 for various organizations.

For the program, We created an online home run derby game hosted on mlb.com. The look and feel of the game was inspired by a bygone era of American baseball, and themed after an antique wooden pinball game. Users would sign up for a "team" (a charity organization), and then return to the game each day and play to raise their "batting average" (credit toward their charity). The more credits they accumulated, the more money they would raise for their favorite charity. And ten lucky winners headed on a VIP trip to the MLB World Series.
